Customer Reviews
KSwiss Hypercourt ExpressI really enjoy using KSwiss shoes primarily because of their lightweight feel. They are very soft shoes, and yet they are sturdy enough to take the pounding on the hardcourts. I have used them for almost 30 years, through tournaments and USTA Leagues. I hope to continue using them for another 30 years!
It's OK.Comparing to an Asics Gel Resolution 8 of the same size, this one is a bit loose fit for me, which is fine. However, the shoe collars are a bit too high to me. It is uncomfortable.
Super comfortable shoe - good for wider feetOrdered these because they were on sale and needed some new shoes. I've been a die hard ASICS wearer forever but for $78 I figured I'd try them. They are a great looking shoe and are super comfortable right out of the box. I particularly liked that the inner lining at the heel has like a shark skin type of feel, smooth as foot goes in, but is designed for some bite on the way out. This design keeps your heel from lifting at all. Only 2 things will keep me from giving these shoes 5 stars.
1) Forefoot runs a bit wide. It's not outrageous, but there is a bit more room there than I would like. Those with wider feet will love them.
2) They run HOT. They don't seem to have great ventilation. I usually don't sweat profusely from my feet, but even playing indoors in NE cold, my feet were sweating. I cannot imagine what these would be like in the summer!
Overall, great construction, comfortable out of the box, but a bit wide and hot.
Nice ShoesI really struggle finding tennis shoes that feel 'relatively' comfortable while playing. These are about a close as I've found. A bit wider in the forefoot while still feeling stable.
Comfort & stabilityTried a few brands and I must say, this pair gives the comfort & stability that I need.
comfortableWide enough to be comfortable with my bunions.
Very ComfortableI have been using the Nike Cage 3 shoes for many years and switched to the KSwiss Hypercourt Express 2 a month ago. I find this shoe very comfortable, good cushioning and lightweight for quick starts and sprints to the net. Much prefer this shoe to some of heavier shoes like the Nike Cage 4 or Asics Gel Resolution 8. This KSwiss shoe will be my go to shoe for some years to come.
Good shoe and good valueThis shoe is sturdy and needed no break-in time. Very comfortable after figuring out how to loosen the strings to accommodate my high instep.
solid performanceI have wide feet. KSwiss fits like a glove. These were no exception. The same consistent fit and performance. I never have to think about them when I am on the court.
And, I am not sure about why, I guess style changes and color.
love them!Great shoes!
comfy and lightThe shoe is very comfortable, just a little too light for me.
excellent! Very comfortable! Excellent shoes!
Bad tongue designThe fit and comfort of these shoes are fantastic. I had the previous version and that's what made me want to buy these again. My only complaint is that the tongue moves a lot compared to the previous version. Even after tying the shoes tighter, the tongue will still move to the outside of my foot. It's a bit of a nuisance that I've never noticed in other shoes and one I hope that KSwiss can fix
Searching for the perfect wide tennis shoeI used to wear New Balance Fresh Foam Lav shoes to accommodate my wide feet. Unfortunately the newer versions of the NB shoe are not as wide as the older versions, so they no longer fit well. Based upon reviews I decided to try the KSwiss Hypercourt Express 2 in a size 2E. I normally wear a size 9.5, but I found the KSwiss 9.5 to be too small, so I exchanged them for a size 10. The width is acceptable, but they are a bit snug. Unfortunately there is some heel slippage, causing my socks to slowly creep down around my heel until I stop to pull them back up. I probably won't order these again as I continue to search for the perfect wide tennis shoe.
Awesome shoesRecently got back into tennis after a very long layoff and needed proper shoes. I have slightly wide feet and it's hard to find shoes that are "just right" for me. These fit the bill. Super comfortable. No break-in, no blisters. All the support I needed. So far looking quite durable, too.
ComfyIf you are are tired of squeezing into tennis shoes, you will probably really like these shoes. Very supportive. Corrugated laces work well. Room enough for all five toes. Faster than Prince T22s, slower than Asics Gel Resolution. Good ventilation. Fits a little deeper than most others but not too much. They fit true to size.
great!They feel very comfortable!
Not Quite as Good as They Used to BeThis is my 4th pair of these light, very comfortable, and acceptably-durable court shoes. This pair, however, is a tiny bit shorter than its predecessors. Men's 11 would be too big. If there were a men's 10.5, I'd have exchanged them.
KSwiss Hypercourt Express 2Great durable tennis shoe with a slightly wider toe box. It has very good longevity and requires very little break-in. Don't think you could go wrong with shoe. TW had a great price on this shoe.
Shoes that players wearThis is my second purchase for these KSwiss Shoes. It was hard to break them in at first but after the break in, they have been the best feeling shoes and comfortable on the tennis court. It is shoe that more players should try. I found a new brand to replace my adidas Barricades.
comfortable! These shoes are very comfortable and responsive. I've had 2 knee replacements so shoes are important.
KSwissGreat all around tennis shoe with extra width. This is my 3rd or 4th pair. Roomy, soft and comfortable. Good job KSwiss.
A well constructed Tennis Playing shoe!I have always been a Prince T-22 off and on customer, but they wear fast and were always tight (couldn't wait to get them off). I went with this Swiss Hypercourt Express 2.
1. Priced right!
2. Design basic black with some low key red markings.
WHAT I FOUND:
1. The shoe fit! Yeah, I wiggled the right foot in but a feeling of "the shoe fit".
2.Comfort from start- I'm not saying house slipper comfort- I'm saying once they're on I don't have any more thoughts of them. Tennis Time.
3. You will notice the grip of the court (I'm quick, fast and get to "no way" balls) these shoes are performing, and sure footed.
I rate 4 Stars- leaving the 5th Star for that actual House Slipper comfort.
Come on Swiss you're almost there. The best shoe at a great price!

Best shoe in the last 10 yearsVery comfortable. My legs are not as fatigued after a long singles match as other shoes I've worn.
Best Shoes for TennisI have been playing tennis for 15 years. These are the best shoes that fit me.
TENNIS MOMEver since my son has started wearing KSwiss, his feet finally stopped hurting as well as his back. He is young. He really loves the shoes, in particular these. I only wish they could be resoled, but this is not enough of an issue to give the shoes anything but a 5. Tennis Warehouse Customer Service were extremely helpful!
Almost workedThese fit the best after trying on 5-6 pairs at a shop, however the heel hold was a little concerning. This ended up being the biggest problem playing in them, I got pretty brutal heel blisters after a few hours of play. If your heels fit the pocket well, they should be fine for you.
K SwissContemporary look. Snug at ordered size, but ok. Only used on hard courts, but no issue there. Seems a nice "large platform" for balance, support.
Great shoes, great tennis supply storeGreat fit at a great price, I have worn these and the previous version for several years. The newer version seems to have a slightly narrower toe box than the earlier version. I wear these playing tennis and pickleball 5 to 6 times per week.
Not even close to UltrascendorI've been playing tennis for over 20 years. I bought these shoes, since the Ultrascendor has all but disappeared from all stores. The Hypercourts are strictly for baseliners, who will never move more than 2-3 steps in any direction. These shoes are not for sprinters who go after lobs or drop shots or go for running forehands down the line. These shoes are flat as a board and offer zero arch support. I've intermixed using these for a match, then my old Ultrascendors for the next match, and I ALWAYS get horrible foot and arch cramps after using these Hypercourts.
Sorry K-swiss. I've loved ya for 15 years, but these Hypercourts just don't do it.
Very cheaply madeI'm a textbook size 10d or normal wide shoe guy. These shoes were too narrow for my feet. In addition there were no perforations or breathing holes and it was like putting on a tight plastic bag. I think your feet would fall off with jungle rot within an hour. These shoes are made to look pretty with some jazzy colors, but for anyone who does any athletics at all these shoes are something to stay away from.
Good fitComfortable, good fit, no break it time needed, light weight.
It's not the original Hypercourt ExpressThe original Hypercourt Express fit my feet really well with its nice wide toe box.
This one is sized like the new Hypercourt Express 2, even though they're calling it the Hypercourt Express. I had to return them, as I couldn't even get them on my feet they were so tight. (I wear Hypercourt Express 2 in 2E, whereas my original Hypercourt Express wasn't labeled as wide.)
Huge disappointment. Go on K-Swiss's website--which I wish I'd done first--and you'll see tons of reviews from people like me who got tricked into thinking that K-Swiss finally brought back the original version.
Imagine how high the return rate must be for online orders! Not a smart decision on K-Swiss's part.
Nice pickleball shoes!Second pair I have purchased, stability is good, I did purchase superfeet inserts for them.
K Swiss hypercourt barely blue - wideThis has been my favorite shoe for years. Good quality and good fit. However the last pair I ordered was too narrow in the mid sole. The representative I talked to said he had heard this complaint from others. This is very disappointing. I sent them back and bought a wide shoe from New Balance.
Wide sizeOrdered the wide size and it fits great. Shoe is comfortable and seems sturdy.
Great shoes--still going strongI've worn these for many years and hope they keep on making them. They fit me perfectly with wider than average feet and high insteps.
Nice Design. Narrow Toe BoxAlthough the shoe has a nice design, it isn't really for wide feet. The toe box is narrow, as is the insole. I first tried 12 (2E), my usual size, and it was a little too long and immediately caused black toes. I then tried 11.5 (2E), and it caused pain in the ball of my foot. Tossed both. Wasted money!
Not for narrower feetA well constructed shoe and high quality but wide toe box for its size. Not enough forefoot support.
Good shoesThese shoes are super comfortable.
Hypercourt 2 Tennis ShoePurchased this pair of shoes in extra wide, however they are still too narrow for my feet. Oddly enough narrower than the original Hypercourt shoe which fit perfectly, especially in the toe box. Had to return these.
Heel Slippage and Low QualityMy heels slipped. I even tried downsizing a half size. Still same problem. Also, one shoe had the injection mold nubs still protruding along the lower outside area. And there was sloppy excess adhesive on one shoe that should've been wiped off. Shouldn't have got past any competent quality checks. Not impressed for how expensive these shoes are. The cushioning was pretty nice. Ended up returning because I didn't want to get blisters on my heels.
Super cushI have narrow feet and these shoes fit like a glove. Absolutely love them!
If the shoe fits?I bought these shoes in my normal size, 9. Overall the shoes fit very comfortably and I loved the materials and feeling of support. However, too tight in the front of my foot. So I exchanged for a 9.5. All good in front but slipped in the back. So I returned them. Ended up buying the Hypercourt Supreme that was only slightly less snug but the bonus was that it has a cushion (little puff pillows) in the back just above your ankle and they fit perfect. No slippage and enough room in front on both feet. Haven't played tennis yet since I bought them though. I am 5'9 150lbs.
Not a secure fitI'm normally a 4E but have had good luck stretching 2E shoes like the Yonex Sonicage 2. Tried it with these and the width was fine but even tying the laces pretty tight my heel would ever so slightly lift up and therefore slam down during play. Tried different lacing etc but no luck. So a wide enough fit but maybe a hair 'tall'?
Hyper Court 2 ExpressI have worn K Swiss for many years because they have always given strong lateral movement support. I have a wide foot. I just bought a pair of the Hyper Court Express 2. These shoes fit well and seem to be slightly shorter beyond the toe. This allows for great forward movement and backing up for overheads due to the shorter length. Just bought a second pair today for when this pair is worn out.
Best ever Wide tennis shoesLove these!
Supportive and snug to my feet without pinching in the forestep.
Of course everyone's feet are unique, but with free returns it's worth the try.
Easy decision.
Court Shoes for HandballMy pair of shoes were a perfect fit, and felt broken in from the first step. The cushioning and padding made the shoe perfectly comfortable. The shoes held great traction on the courts and responded well to my movement.
My Go-To ShoeI have been wearing these shoes for the past four years or more. Love them. Supportive, comfortable, and no break in.
Best fit for small wide footMy foot is too tight for narrow and too wide for 4E of several shoe. When I got the KSwiss Hypercourt Express 2 (2E), it was very comfortable and the best fit for my feet while I play on hard court. I am going to keep buying this shoe from now on.
Perfect ShoesThese shoes are hands down the greatest tennis shoe I have ever worn. I have worn Nike and adidas for about 6 years and the switch to K-Swiss was a blessing.
Comfy and SupportiveI decided to give KSwiss as spin after Nike continues to get rid of their good shoes and seems to make their shoes narrower and narrower. Heard KSwiss was roomier.
I bought a Hypercourt Express and a Hypercourt Supreme. Both good shoes.
I'd say the Express has more width and the arch is stiff -- almost feels like it has a built in insert.
The Supreme feels a little snugger but still better width than any Nike. I prefer the Supreme for the optimal width and fit it gave me, and maybe they feel a little speedier on the court.
Both are great shoes.
Too narrow for my feetThese shoes have tons of cushion as do most K-Swiss shoes do. But they were too narrow for my feet. I went with the K-Swiss Ultrashot 3 instead which were a better fit even though the Ultrashot 3 isn't great with breathability.
Not wide enoughShoes were fine, but for me, 2E wasn't wide enough. I returned them.
Great Intentions, Poor DesignOnce again, Nike snubs it's wider-footed customers so we turn to New Balance and K-Swiss to be our plug for the next two years. I really wanted to like these shoes, but overall I'm just not impressed. There is zero midsole cushioning in the forefoot, so K-Swiss compensated for this by adding a super thick and cushy insert. My experience is that there is too much compression underneath the ball of my foot I cannot feel the ground with my toes as I work my way around the court. What's more is that the uppers aren't designed to support that high of a footbed so I never felt confident moving laterally.
Buy this shoe only if you never lift your heels or move side to side.
Love the fit & performance, not the qualityI have had Babolat, Nike, and even the acclaimed Asics - The K-Swiss Hypercourt Express hold my feet perfectly and I feel the support around my ankle unlike the others. My only complaints are the outsole durability is poor, wearing out quicker than the others on clay. And, the stitching is very poor quality, The toe box stitches give out.
Previous Feedback
Comments: They say roomy toe box; very misleading and false. Also the same with the KSwiss Express Light's tight toe box. They need to change what they're saying about roomy forefoot.

Comments: Thank you Tennis Warehouse for two day free shipping. Awesome. I am six foot, and do not play tennis. Based on TW review, I decided to try these shoes. As mentioned, they were slightly wider and very comfortable. TW's review was right on. Right out of the box, these shoes fit me perfectly and has all the comfort for my every day wear. I do have different weighted socks, as you never know how shoes are going to fit for my size 13 shoes. I might buy the other black shoes with more white exposure on the outer sole. Again, I really like the comfort of these shoes and are somewhat stylish, at a nice price.

Comments: KSwiss should design shoes with the back of the Hypercourt Supreme shoes on the Hypercourt Express shoes, that would be great.

Comments: I love how these shoes fit and look. But I rolled my left ankle and have a knee injury. These shoes ride high and don't feel right.
From: Bill, 2/5/21
Comments: Comfortable shoes, light. However these run a half size large.
From: Eric, 8/6/20
Comments: Liked the shoe except for one thing that really made a difference. It had terrible ankle support, I rolled my ankle twice so far. Other than that, it is a great shoe.
From: Anonymous, 4/21/20
Comments: These shoes a little stiffer than the original Hypercourts and fit a little differently, but still are a great shoe for those of us who need a wider fit!
